Artist Statement:
As a sculptor hailing from Dublin, she finds inspiration in the timeless forms of Picasso and Rodin. Her artistic journey began with an early fascination for the human figure a love affair that has persisted through the years.
Her creative process marries traditional sculpting techniques with a contemporary twist. She shapes materials with respect, paying homage to the masters who came before. Yet, it’s the finishing touch the vibrant colour pop that sets her work apart, a nod to the present. The interplay of form, colour, and memory fuels Ana’s exploration.
